Jazz Cabaret at St. Barnabas – January 28, 2015

We are pleased to announce our next Jazz Cabaret at St. Barnabas. On January 28, 2015, we are excited to present Eric and Kelley DeFade with pianist Rich Gallagher as our visiting artists. The DeFade name has been recognized in the jazz musical circles of Pittsburgh for many decades. Eric has appeared as a jazz saxophonists on several Grammy winning CDs and his musical bio reads like a “who’s who” listing with dozens of great musicians. Kelley joins this great musical family bringing a lilting vocie to blend with and add to Eric’s marvelous musical talents. Rick Gallagher brings a rich and lyrical sound to the trio and a solid background and history of jazz presentation locally and nationally.

The previous Jazz Cabarets have been very successful and we expect to continue to grow this musical and charitable endeavor. We are doing this because we want to promote jazz and increase the jazz audience in the region – AND support the “Free Care Fund” for the patients of St. Barnabas who have outlived their finances.

Time: 7:00 p.m. to 9:15 p.m.
Place: Mt. Vernon Room (Kean Theatre annex),
Washington Place, 5847 Meridian Road, Gibsonia, 15044
Cost: $12.50 per person.
This includes cash bar, free appetizers and parking.

Please join us in a recreation of a 50’s jazz club and keeping jazz alive and well while contributing to a worthy cause.

REMINDER: Jazz Cabaret at St. Barnabas – November 5, 2014

Just a “heads up” for the upcoming Jazz Cabaret at St. Barnabas which will be held next Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at Washington Place – the Mt. Vernon Room – 5847 Meridian Road, Gibsonia, PA 15044.

We are very excited to present the Dane Vannatter Trio. Accompanying Dane is the masterful pianist, Max Leake, and the rhythmical and graceful stylings of bassist, Tony DePaolis. Together, these musicians create an ambiance comparable to any jazz club today or in the past.

The starting time is 7:00 p.m. but we would suggest an early arrival to be assured a good seat. The parking is free along with free snacks. There is a cash bar with very nimble bartenders.

You can experience this delightful evening of music and conviviality for only $12.50 /person – AND – as always, you will be contributing to the Free Care Fund which provides for patients at the St. Barnabas Nursing Homes who can no longer afford their care.

Please join us for a lovely evening of melodic music with Dane Vannatter, Pittsburgh’s newest singing sensation, and know you are supporting a worthy cause by helping the less fortunate.

Sincerely,

Brooks and Helen Bartlett
