Another evening of Music and Conviviality
We have prepared an evening of warm and lovely music to soothe and warm the hearts (and toes) of those of you wintering in Pittsburgh.
The evening’s entertainment will be provided by Ms Jessica Lee and her trio – Mark Strickland on guitar and Chris Hemingway on saxophone. They will continue our efforts to present jazz as it was in the 40’s and 50’s – a retro jazz venue featuring songs from the Great American Songbook, songs that have memorable lyrics and melodies that are sophisticated, enjoyable, and romantic.
Please join us for an evening of entertainment promoting jazz and, while doing that, know that you are also supporting the “Free Care Fund” for the financially stressed patients in the St. Barnabas Nursing Homes.
To date, our Jazz Cabaret has been made possible by some volunteers and the help of very generous sponsors. It is our hope that this generosity continues but we can always use more sponsorship and publicity.
