REMINDER: Jazz Cabaret at Conley Resort – May 9, 2018

Good afternoon Jazz Cabaret friends,

This is just a reminder of our next Jazz Cabaret which will be held on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at Conley’s Resort. Dane Vannatter and his marvelous trio will be presenting their homage to Spring and the songs appropos to this lovely time of the year.

As I compose this missive, it seems “Spring will be a Little Late this Year” but I am hoping that “Spring is Here” will be an appropriate song by May 9th.

As I mentioned in the first e-blast, dinner at Conley’s might be of interest to some Cabaret attendees. If you are coming to the Cabaret, they will provide a free appetizer with your entrée. Give the restaurant, Knickers, a call for an early reservation: 724-586-7711. Remember, the Jazz Cabaret starts at 7:00 p.m.

Jazz Cabaret at Conley Resort – May 9, 2018

Good afternoon Jazz Cabaret friends,

We hope you will join us as we welcome Spring at our next Jazz Cabaret on May 9th at the Conley Resort. The theme will be spring songs as presented by the renowned jazz cabaret singer, Dane Vannatter. Dane has honored us by consenting to return to our vicinity for this special night (he now resides in the Cleveland area.) Those of you who have heard him at our Cabaret or at other jazz clubs know he has incredible stage presence and a marvelous voice that brings soul to song lyrics in the jazz genre. Dane will be accompanied by Daniel May on piano, Tony DePaolis on bass, and James Moore on trumpet.

We will continue at our new venue at Conley Resort in the Grandview Room. For those of you who missed our initial presentation there in February, it is a great venue with many complimentary assets more in keeping with a jazz club. The Grandview is larger and accommodates more guests with more room to move around. The Conley restaurant, Knickers, is available for those of you who might like dinner prior to the Jazz Cabaret. That time coincides with their Happy Hour discounts – and, if having an entrée, the appetizers are free.

Our May Jazz Cabaret marks the completion of four years of our presentations. It is our hope and plan to continue this Cabaret as long as the jazz audience and our sponsors continue to support us. Remember, it is a benefit – ALL proceeds go to the “Free Care Fund at St. Barnabas”!

Consequently, we cannot continue without our sponsors. We will again list them so you can personally thank them.
